Calm Quiet Space Mindfulness

Every human being has the capacity to be mindful.

Practicing mindfulness can help you develop the skills to obtain emotional balance and well-being:

  • Learn how to settle the chattering mind.
  • Connect more with feelings, rather than thoughts.
  • Learn to bring about change from the inside.

"The Calm Quiet Space barn is a really relaxing and comforting space. I really liked the candles and incense which added far more than I expected to the experience."

About the mindfulness classes

The CQS mindfulness classes are either run online or in person for a group of up to ten people.

The sessions are roughly a third of teaching, a third practicing meditation and a third of group discussion.

There is no pressure for participants to join in the group discussion, some people prefer to just listen.
On the morning retreats there are breaks where I provide tea/herbal teas/coffee and biscuits.

You will learn how to bring mindfulness into your daily lives. We live in a 24/7 world and many people come to the sessions to help find a way of managing the busyness of their minds that can often cause stress and distress.

We look at the nature of thoughts and how they can push and pull us around. Through mindfulness practice we can start to settle our minds and recognise unhelpful thought patterns.
For further details or to come along to a taster session please contact Caroline.
