Caroline Quinton Smith became passionate about mindfulness following the very positive changes she made in her own life when she learnt how to use simple mindfulness techniques in her everyday life.
Caroline trained as a nurse and specialised in paediatric nursing before she becoming a full-time mum to her five children. Caroline has always cared about other people's well-being and in order to share her positive mindfulness experience she decided to train as a mindfulness coach, setting up Calm Quiet Space in 2016.
Caroline's nursing training has well equipped her to empathise with people and to listen. She jointly set up and ran a parenting advice forum ‘Parenting Café, which had a weekend column in The Telegraph.
She has seen through her own life experience how our 24/7 lives can lead to over thinking, stress and anxiety. Mindfulness practice has helped Caroline be more kind to herself, make friends with the voice in her head and not take the contents of her mind so seriously.
Caroline trained as a mindfulness teacher under the guidance of Suryacitta at Be Mindful Now CIC and continues with her own training attending regular workshops and retreats.
